Welcome to As The Deer Blog!

I am excited to begin this creative journey that I’ve been thinking about starting for quite some time.  With everything new going on in our lives right now, this kind of seems like a crazy time to start but why not?!  A little bit about me … I’m Ashley!  My life is all about my Savior Jesus Christ, my husband Parker, our soon-to-arrive baby girl Brinklee, and our Chocolate Labrador Cowboy.  I’m an Alabama girl that recently became a Kentucky girl when we moved for my husband to take a lead pastor position.  We have bought a house in the historic district of our small town and are looking forward to making it our home.  I have a passion for home decor, DIYs, and sharing how I am continually amazed at God’s faithfulness and grace in my life, so that’s what you’ll find here on the blog!  My hope is that you can return to this space to be inspired, encouraged, and feel at home.  This world can feel overwhelming, chaotic, and full of worries, but we can rest in knowing that our God is sovereign and in control.  “As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God ..
