Who else loves Liz Marie Galvan of Liz Marie blog? She has been a long time favorite of mine. In her book Cozy White Cottage, she writes about “100 ways to love the feeling of being home.” One of her tips is something very simple but can make a big difference … adding legs to a piece of furniture. So I did just that! I turned a somewhat boring shelf into a piece that is functional and pretty.
Everyone loves a good cube shelf, right? They are so practical and can hold a lot of stuff. I needed a place to hide toys in our living room and didn’t want to spend a lot on a big piece of furniture right now. So I just took a generic cube shelf from Walmart and added some style. Hairpin legs and seagrass baskets from Amazon .. pretty decor books .. greenery .. a candle .. some art .. and it’s also the perfect size for record storage!
There you go .. cube shelves don’t have to just be for playrooms and closets! 🤗
